Spring is here, and with that driving to destinations near and far. And should you be recreationally inclined, there will be gear and equipment to accompany you to the lake or golf course. With everything, it's good to be organized. This engenders clear thinking and lessens distractions when driving to already exciting places. Given storage space in rear and on top, a few tips:
- With roof racks or storage containers, ensure component fittings, tie downs and gear itself are secure and tight. You won't want anything to take flight or drop off.
- In rear cargo areas, it's beneficial that each item or bag has its own dedicated space. Keeping it all flush with floor, snug and against paneling or seats keeps it all hazard free. Anything roaming around in the back is sure to distract, and if airborne given short stops a definite danger.
